Is the AI clarity call really free?

Yes. The introductory clarity call is free and is used to understand your situation, answer basic questions and decide whether working together makes sense.

What happens during the free clarity call?

We talk through what is taking up your time, what you hope AI could help with and the most sensible next step. It is usually 15-20 minutes and can happen online or by phone.

Is the free call the same as a paid consulting session?

No. The free call is an introductory fit conversation, not a full consulting, training or implementation session.

How much does AI consulting cost?

The free clarity call costs nothing. Paid AI Clarity Sessions start from $150 AUD. Typical half-day workflow design and implementation projects start from $600 AUD, with larger or more complex projects quoted separately.

What does a typical half-day project include?

A typical project may include process review, opportunity mapping, tool selection, workflow design, prompts, templates, practical implementation, testing, handover and basic training. The exact scope is confirmed before paid work begins.

Do I need to understand AI before booking?

No. Starting from scratch is fine. MJ's role is to explain the unfamiliar parts clearly and focus on what is genuinely relevant to your work.

Is this only for businesses?

No. The main commercial focus is small businesses and people-led organisations, but individuals can also book practical help for everyday life, planning, writing, learning and organisation.

Do you work online or in person?

Yes. MJ can work online and is available for local in-person work where practical.

Are you based in Perth?

Yes. MJ is based in Perth, Western Australia, and can support clients locally and online.

Can you train a whole team?

Yes. Training can be tailored for small businesses, schools, churches, staff teams and community organisations. Sessions are practical, beginner-friendly and built around the team's real work.

Can you work with the software we already use?

Often, yes. The goal is not to force a new tool into every problem. MJ first looks at your existing systems, then recommends suitable AI tools or workflows where they genuinely help.

Which AI platforms do you use?

MJ is platform-independent. Depending on the work, support may involve tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, Codex or another suitable platform.

Are you tied to ChatGPT?

No. ChatGPT may be useful for some tasks, but it is not automatically the right answer for every person or organisation.

Can you work with ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot or Codex?

Yes. Tool choice depends on the client's work, budget, existing systems, privacy needs and confidence level.

What happens to private or sensitive information?

Privacy depends on the platform, account type, settings and the information being used. Different providers offer different controls and contractual terms. MJ helps clients think through tool choice and safer working practices, but does not make blanket guarantees on behalf of third-party providers. Sensitive, personal, confidential or regulated information should not be entered into a system until its suitability has been properly considered.

Will my information be used to train an AI model?

That depends on the provider, plan and settings. Consumer and business products may have different controls. We review the relevant options at the time of the project, but clients should also read and accept the provider's current terms and privacy documentation.

Do you guarantee that an AI platform is private?

No. MJ can help clients assess practical privacy considerations, but cannot guarantee the security, privacy, availability or behaviour of third-party AI platforms.

Will AI replace the way we already work?

The goal is not to throw everything out. Useful AI support usually improves existing work by reducing repetitive steps, improving first drafts and making processes clearer.

Do you build workflows or only give advice?

Both are available. Some clients need direction and examples; others need MJ to help design, build, test and hand over practical workflows.

What do I receive at the end of a project?

That depends on the scope, but it may include prompts, templates, workflow steps, examples, quality-control checks, basic documentation and training on how to keep using the system.

What happens after the initial project?

Follow-up and refinement can be arranged if the workflow needs adjustment after real use or if you want to build on what has already been created.

Is AI always the right answer?

No. Sometimes the best answer is a better template, clearer process or simpler system. AI should earn its place in the workflow.

Are software subscription costs included?

No. Software subscriptions or third-party platform costs are not included unless clearly stated in the quote.

Do you offer local travel?

Local travel requirements are discussed before work begins and reflected in the quote where relevant.
